Aspiring Children's Artist- My Art- Final Day!

Today concludes my week long  art exhibit. I've shown you 4 of some of my more recent works,

Notice the nod to Denmark? I am Danish/American and LOVE my heritage (and miss my homeland, family, and friends that reside there like crazy since it's a VERY expensive flight from my neck-of-the-woods!)

Aspiring Children's Artist- My Art Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of my online exhibit featuring my never-before-seen art.

Unfortunately this piece is in storage at my sister's house...1200 miles away. And the only picture I have of it as of right now was on my phone- so the picture quality is lacking. It is much clearer, much brighter, and much better in person- I promise:)  But- you get the gist of it... right?

Aspiring Children's Illustrator- My Art Day 3

I am an aspiring artist- particularly, an aspiring Children's Illustrator. And all week long I'm showcasing a few of my pieces to the world publicly for the very first time! Before I open my Etsy shop- before I send out my portfolio- I am showing all of you my art first. Because I love you :) Kind of like an online Art Exhibit perhaps?

Monday I showed you "Little Man"- a cute little Native American boy in the snow
Tuesday I showcased "I Love You to the Moon and Back" - which features 2 bears embracing on the moon overlooking the night sky. (This piece features a lot of symbolism as it was painted for a dear friend of mine)

Today I am showing you a piece that isn't really "Children's" art per-say. It's entitled:

"Blue Bird" -creatively enough :)

Aspiring Children's Illustrator- My Art Day 2

All week long I am humbly submitting some of my art to the world for the very first time. Yesterday I posted a little drawing entitled: Little Man, which is of a little Native American boy in the snow.

Today I am showing you a piece I commissioned for a very dear friend of mine. She is a lover of all things Great Britain and an adoring fan of her cute little grand kids, each of whom she gives a special nickname when they are babies. I painted Mama and Papa bear overlooking the night sky which features a shooting star representing their dear dog who had just passed a few weeks earlier and constellations representing each grandchild's nickname. See if you can find: The Horse shoe, the Top Hat, the Heart, and the Star.
