Teaching Children Gratitude

Is there anything worse than an ungrateful child?
uuummm... OK there are plenty of things that are worse. Like full on tantrums in the middle of a restaurant.
But still..... being ungrateful is bad manners in my book! And boy oh boy do I have a child that struggles with this!

With Christmas season upon us this would be a fun idea to reiterate how important it is to be grateful for what they receive regardless of what it is.
I can tell you from experience that having a child open a gift from an extended family member and then complaining about it is soooo embarrassing!
This mommy blogger created these cute cards and included them as a FREE PRINTABLE for the rest of us!

Happy Tickets!

Look what I found!

I've told you guys how much I love scouring mommy blogs for parenting advice.
well this is why!

What a great way to teach kids to be positive!
Look on the bright side of things!
Look at the glass half full and not half empty!
Have a good attitude while doing something they don't like (chores come to mind)

I have a child who has a bad habit of dwelling on the negative.

We are SO going to give this a try with her!
